When should I stop using a Sleeping Sack?Updated 2 months ago

The transition from a sleeping sack to a Sleep Suit Sack or Sleep Onesie is a personal choice. Many toddlers make the switch once they start walking and want more freedom for their legs in the crib. However, it’s common for children to continue using a sleeping sack or sleep suit sack until they transition to a big bed with blankets—usually not before 2 years old. For more details, check out our Cot-to-Bed Transition Guide.

Once your child becomes comfortable with blankets, they can stop using their pouch. Most children make this transition between 2.5 and 4 years old, but some may continue to use their sleeping sack or sleep suit longer if they prefer.
